THE BEST PEDIATRIC DENTAL CARE MEANS BEING THERE WHEN YOU NEED US MOST

About Emergency Pediatric Dental Care in Houston, TX

At Greater Houston Pediatric Dentistry, our experienced and board-certified pediatric dentists provide emergency dental care so that you can know your child's smile and health are always in good hands.

How do I know if my child is having a dental emergency?

If your child has experienced or is experiencing any of the following symptoms or conditions, you should call the dentist immediately:

Dental Trauma - Dental trauma, or injury to the teeth and/or soft tissues of the mouth, most often occurs as a result of falls, sports, or fights. Trauma can cause chipped, fractured, loose or avulsed teeth, and your child should be evaluated by a pediatric dentist as soon as possible.

Toothache - If your child complains of a toothache, inspect the mouth immediately to ensure there are no visible items lodged in the mouth or teeth causing the discomfort. Schedule a dental appointment as soon as possible for a thorough examination and evaluation.

Facial Swelling - Facial swelling can be caused by a variety of issues and should be evaluated by your child's dentist immediately.

If you suspect your child has a dental emergency, call our Houston pediatric dental clinic immediately to schedule an appointment.

What if my child has a dental emergency after hours?

Our dentists can be reached 24-hours for dental emergencies. If your child experiences a dental emergency after hours, on weekends or during the holidays, contact the specific office location where your child is a patient and leave a voicemail to be returned promptly by the dentist on-call.
